ABOUT ME
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, offering both in-person and online sessions through my private practice in the heart of Dublin city centre. My approach is person-centred, and I draw on a range of specialised techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, and ADHD.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). My integrative approach blends various therapeutic modalities and theories, allowing for a flexible and holistic response to each client’s needs.
I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore any difficulties they may be facing. This can take the form of open-ended therapy or more structured short-term work (up to 12 sessions), depending on your goals. I recommend beginning with an initial consultation, where you can get a sense of how we might work together and whether it feels like the right fit for you. Sometimes, two initial consultations (50 minutes each) may be helpful before deciding to continue.
Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy considers the whole person—emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational—supporting you in developing greater self-awareness and integration. Together, we can explore the different aspects of your inner world, empowering you to connect with and honour your unique needs.

Client Stories
Ava's compassionate approach helped me navigate through difficult times with resilience and strength.
Ava has helped me discover a new path to work on myself and has helped me stay in the moment during the sessions with her using mindfulness techniques. I was able to open up with her after the first couple of sessions. She helped me be in a better place from the moment we began.

I am extremely satisfied by the professionalism and approach used by Ava. My sessions with Ava came at a fairly critical point for me, and I am happy to say she helped me enormously and I would strongly recommend anyone truly wanting to see change to schedule sessions with Ava. I wasn't sure what to expect from therapy but my sessions have been invaluable, I felt completely at ease discussing anything that was on my mind. Ava listens carefully, analyses and is able to understand very well the psychological situation and thought processes. She is very able in providing insight and novel ways of thinking about and viewing situations, which I have applied after each session. Words can't describe how grateful I am for my sessions with Ava, which I plan to continue for time to come.
